Description

Overall, it was a great experience building a pc for the first time, and now that I finished this one, I want to build another one. Anyways, love how it turned out, and the performance I got out of it was a lot better than I expected. Over 60 fps on most games at high to ultra settings, and temperatures are low considering the overclock and stock cooler. My cable management was eh, that's why there's no picture lol.

Part Reviews

CPU

Does everything I need it to. The stock cooler is better than I expected, and overall best value cpu on the market right now.

Motherboard

Amazing mobo. The power delivery is exceptional, and overclocks were easy. The bios is easy to maneuver and has everything where it needs to be. Great job MSI on the b450 mobos, exceeded all expectations.

Memory

Looks great, runs great. Best part about this is the rgb has a real white color, as opposed to most other rgb products that have a blueish glow to it.

Storage

Only giving this 4 stars because I expected around 10 or so seconds boot time, but I'm currently getting around 15-20 seconds boot time. Still way better than a hard drive though.

Video Card

1 main reason for the deduction of a star. The fans won't turn on unless the sapphire trixx software is running, which can sometimes be a pain. Even when the gpu gets over 70 C the fans won't turn on unless the software is running. Other than that great budget card.

Case

Beauty at its finest. Wouldn't get any other case, except maybe the h500i...

Power Supply

No complaints here, just a solid PSU overall.

Case Fan

The whites on these fans are not white, they actually look like a pale blue color, which isn't good for those that want a white themed build. Other than that the other colors with the software effects are easily the best in the market right now.

Monitor

Best budget monitor. Period. Freesync, ips, 75 hz, all for $80? It's a steal for anyone on a budget.

Mouse

Solid mouse, only complaint is that the sides can get slippery after a while of gaming.

Speakers

Decent speakers for the money. Isn't the best quality, but gets the job done, which is its intention.

Custom

Great look on the wiring. the cable combs are okay, but could be better.

Custom

Best keyboard I've used so far. Everything is positioned where it should be, and the linear romer g switches are better than the mx reds, in my opinion. The software is excellent, but the best part of the keyboard is the wrist rest. This thing is so comfortable, and really makes the experience a lot better.

What a very clean build! +1

I’ve been thinking about getting that monitor as a budget backup solution for testing any computers I build without actually taking my personal one. 75Hz and Freesync sounds like a win-win to me :D

Also, those PSU extension cables are really nice. Phanteks has really affordable and high-quality extensions for sure.

Thanks, the monitor really exceeded my expectations for the $80 price point. I've had no problems with it and is perfect for amd graphics cards. The PSU extension cables are honestly great for the price, can't go wrong with it for sure. Wish it came with better cable combs but that's just being picky.

Thanks! In my opinion, the monitor is only maybe two or three inches too small for my taste. However, I think that for what you get at this low of a price point it is definitely worth the buy.
