from completed build Dream Machine '20
Still going strong after 10 years of daily use, my only complaint is with the included cables, I wish they could've included some nicer cables for the price.
from completed build Budget Decent Entry Level Starter PC
A little big but I got a good price for it and besides the CPU power issue it was not at all a problem. I did have to remove the hard drive cage at the bottom of the case to fit.
from completed build Moonshine 2
Good price, I think it will work for the time being. Even if its alot more than needed, why not have it.
from completed build Lian Li 011 Dynamic 9 fans (razer edition) Update
amazing PSU. Tip: do not buy a PSU unless it contains a 24pin tester. the Corsair HX 1000 did not come with one and ended up blowing up inside my computer upon turning on PC for the first time. I was thankful nothing happened.
from completed build Blue
Quiet psu very dependable ran crossfire xfx 290x cards with overclocked 5930k no problems what so ever.
from completed build Turnin' On The Screw
This is a bit overkill, but I'm expecting to do more with the machine in the future, just not at the moment. Either way, these things typically last much longer than the build itself, so we'll see what happens.
It's a nice PSU, plenty of power. Cables are thick and a bit hard to orient, but as I've seen mentioned before, this is probably a good thing. Haven't tried eco mode yet, not sure I will.
from completed build Ryzen 5 3600 upgrade, mix of old and new.
Have been using this since 2015. Awesome piece. Had to RMA the first one I bought after a few weeks, kept failing. EVGA did not quibble and replaced it. A capable PSU is the cornerstone (along with a good case) of any decent build.
from completed build My not so budget gaming/coding rig
High quality piece that's given me no problems and I don't anticipate it to. It just works. I do get some coil whine when the CPU is loaded 100% and everything is drawing down the power, but considering that is also when the fans are blowing full blast and the whole thing sounds like a jet engine, it is really not an issue. At idle or with moderate loads it is imperceptible.
from completed build Bad Moon Ryzen
Massive amount of Power with modular cables and a Platinum rating, I am one happy camper.
