Description

For no particular reason, I just wanted to do a build in this case... the iBuyPower Snowblind Element case (based on NZXT S340) with LCD side panel. In order to get the best picture possible out of the side panel LCD, the components needed to have as much white as possible.

Parts

i7 9700k

NZXT z390 Mainboard - for no other reason than it was the only board I could find with this much white.

G.Skill Trident Z Royal silver, 3600 DDR4 Memory... because, shiny ;)

Gigabyte RTX2070 Super - White

Samsung 970 Evo Plus system drive & 2 Sandisk SSDs (de-badged and painted white) for additional storage.

I got a nice set of Cablemod pro White cables which worked with the Asus ROG PSU.

InWin Crown fans... look great and I love having only 1 PWM connection to run them all. Because the board is NZXT and I don't care for their CAM software, I used the InWin RGB controller and selected a static white color.

For cooling, the GPU is using stock fans. The CPU water loop was a combinations of Optimus Foundation block, Phanteks Glacier 160 res with EKWB DDC pump, a BlackIce Nemesis 280mm white rad, 16mm clear tubing, and thermaltake white fittings.

I was thinking about getting the same core. That motherboard did you buy it more for the color, are their cheaper ones with similar specs? and did you fill that baby up?

That motherboard actually isnt very good beside the aesthetic. Id recommend another one, like an aorus elite. Others have better VRMs and better RAM compatability.

I definitely got the NZXT board for the white covers.. it was the best choice for trying to get the most white in the build... certainly there are cheaper boards that would do the job, just wouldn't be as bright
